About the event
As a recovered alcoholic and a coach, I have learned that having a plan and a supportive circle of like-minded compatriots is critical to making the change we seek. I have also learned that we can only become the new versions of ourselves by having a vision of the new you. It is my earnest desire to share what I have learned. The workshop is from 9-12 on Saturday, March 28th in Capitola, CA Tuition is $150 and you will receive a packet with all of the content from the presentation as well as worksheets. We will begin to fill in the worksheets and they will become the foundation for ongoing creation. I will present my coaching methodology, The PIllars of a Principled Life, and invite discussion about how using these ideas as guideposts can result in greater well-being and intentional living. The presentation will contain an overview of the science and empirical evidence underlying Positive Psychology and demonstrate why 12-step programs have been successful for the last 80 years…These programs are presented as spiritual solutions but are founded on many of the same principles, tools and strategies of positive psychology. The workshop is designed to bring clarity to needs, values and strengths which can be used to ignite creative thinking and planning.
This is a scaffolding workshop… In a safe, supportive environment we will be invited to brainstorm with one another, creating step-wise solutions. As a group, we will work on creating our individual plans for making the BIG VISION real. By answering a series of questions and brainstorming solutions, participants will leave with the outline of a plan.
This three-hour workshop is $150/person and you will go home with a concrete plan for achieving forward motion in your life. Join us in creating a vision of who you want to become. Huge thanks to the fabulous Kristina for volunteering to host us in her beautiful Capitola home on Depot Hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
